HOW TO GROW & HARVEST
Starting: Gently remove cover as not to disrupt seeds or soil

-
Light Source: sunny window or area that gets a lot of natural light or under a fluorescent light (try to adjust it to about 4 inches above tray – and raise higher as Microgreens grow). There is no need for special full-spectrum light bulbs.

-
Water: Using a spray bottle is best- or just sprinkle with fresh water 1 to 2 times a day – keep damp but not flooded.

-
Keep away from drafts

-
When Are They Ready: greens are ready in 1-3 weeks depending on seed type and light. The greens are about 3”-4” tall.

-
Harvesting: clip the greens with sharp kitchen as close to the soil as possible. Only harvest as needed.

-
Aftercare: gently pull out and dispose of roots and fill with REFILL KIT (purchase from Dogwood Urban Farm).

-
You can have multiple trays going at the same time. Starting a tray each week ends up working out well.
